Miracles Through Pranic Healing (Hardcover) – Master Choa Kok Sui

Master Choa's introductory text, Miracles Through Pranic Healing (formerly Pranic Healing) contains basic instruction for beginners who want to learn this technique. This is a textbook filled with techniques and methods for using Chi and Prana to produce very rapid healing. Master Choa explains his use of the eleven basic chakras, Prana, and preventative healing techniques. He also provides information about advanced Pranic treatments, utilizing color Prana, including specific treatments for various ailments, such as gastrointestinal, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, skeletal, and muscular disorders, as well as tumors, cancers, and blood diseases. Master Choa discusses divine healing and how the miracle of health is available to all of us.

Master Choa's introductory text, Miracles Through Pranic Healing is the basic text used in Pranic Healing courses all over the U.S. While many Americans only work with seven-basic chakras, in this process Master Choa also uses the minor chakras in the hands, feet, fingers, throat, and neck. His methods for activating healing energy enable working with other people without the energy drain that many untrained intuitive healers experience. This is truly a useful book for any naturally sensitive person who has an interest in this form of healing.

Highly recommended for students of alternative medicine and metaphysics.

Reiki healers for the most part learn to channel energy through the crown chakra or the feet. In Pranic Healing one learns to use one hand chakra to pull in and one to project. Also an item not seen in Reiki, disinfecting the area before sending healing energy. This book explains about removing diseased energy before actually doing any healing. It is believed that sending healing energy to diseased areas is not as favorable as sending energy to a cleaned area to speed up the healing process.

Advanced Pranic Healing: Practical Manual on Color Healing – Master Choa Kok Sui

Advanced Pranic Healing brings important information to more experienced practitioners of this ancient art. This is a textbook filled with techniques and methods for using ch'i and color prana to produce very rapid healing. Master Choa explains his use of the eleven basic chakras, color prana, and preventive healing techniques. He provides information about advanced pranic treatments, including specific treatments for various ailments such as: gastrointestional, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, skeletal, muscular, tumors, cancers and blood disorders. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

In 1998, Los Angeles urologist Dr. Eric Robbins started using pranic healing in his practice when he decided to try it on a patient who was not responding to standard medicine. Dr. Robbins had seen this patient's name on the roster of the surgical ward for a long time. As frequently happens with complex cases, once things start going really wrong with the body, they seem to escalate. The patient developed multiple intracultaneous fistulae, yeast sepsis, and a pulmonary embolism. He wasn't expected to live. "I went into the guy's room and I said, 'Look, we're doing everything we can for you within the realm of standard medicine. Can I try some of this weird energy stuff on you?'" Dr. Robbins began applying pranic healing daily. Within two days, his fever and nausea disappeared. Within one week his pulse rate decreased and he eventually got strong enough to tolerate a final surgery to repair his fistulae and went on to make a full recovery.

Dr. Benny Atnil is another physician who uses pranic healing in his practice. One of his success stories is of healing a 31-year-old man of Diabetes Mellitus. After intensive treatment with pranic healing three times a week, the patient's blood glucose went from 175 to 108. The patient was able to gradually reduce and then stop taking his medication. His last tests showed him free from Diabetes Mellitus.

Medical Qigong Exercise Prescriptions (Paperback) – Suzanne Friedman

Medical Chi Kung is one of the four main branches of Chinese medicine, and it is the energetic foundation upon which the others (acupuncture, herbal medicine, and medical massage) are based. Medical Chi Kung and tai chi exercises are becoming more popular, but there are few books that discuss how they can be used to help address specific disorders. This book is the first medical Chi Kung book that does not simply introduce a set of exercises that are a part of a general Chi Kung routine. Rather, the exercises provided are those prescribed to patients at Chi Kung hospitals in China. Medical Chi Kung doctors and Chinese medicine hospitals have used these exercises for hundreds of years and yet they are relatively unknown in this country. The first half of the book introduces medical Chi Kung theory from a modern Western scientific perspective as well as from the traditional Daoist and Chinese medicine perspectives, so that the reader will understand why and how medical Chi Kung exercises work. The second half is practical exercises for self-healing. The book introduces guidelines for selecting appropriate exercises, and then the exercises themselves. There are general tonification (strengthening), purgation (sedating), and regulation exercises for health maintenance, followed by sections on specific organ and health disorders. This book targets health care practitioners as well as "patients," meaning anyone interested in taking an active role in the healing process.

The Yijing Medical Qigong System (Hardcover) – Suzanne Friedman

Yijing (I-Ching) theory is the foundation of Daoism and Chinese medicine, and this book explores the deep roots that they both share. Daoism and Chinese medicine both view the human body as a microcosm of the universe around us; what is happening outside affects us inside. Medical Chi Kung is based on the premise that we can energetically affect something outside based on our intention inside. Much of medical Chi Kung, one of the main branches of Chinese medicine, originates from the practices of Daoist shamanic healers. This book introduces a Chinese medicine healing system based on the principles of the Yijing that serve as the foundation of medical Chi Kung and Daoist spiritual practices. The Yijing Medical Chi Kung System is a compilation of self-healing exercises and qi emission therapeutic treatment techniques based on Daoist medical Chi Kung and Yijing theories. This system's approach is unique in that it focuses on the meanings of the trigrams rather than the hexagrams of the Yijing. The eight trigrams are used in innovative ways for healing the body, mind, and spirit. The Yijing Medical Chi Kung System is based on the premise that the Yijing theory that infuses Chinese medicine and Daoism is just as relevant today for healing and spiritual guidance it was three thousand years ago.
